Event format

Typically, you can expect the following sequence of activity, and these approximate distances, (though each event will be slightly different and we will reveal these details a month before each event):

Run – approx 10km
Bike – 20-30km
Kayak – average 1km
Green Machine – 200m max and 5m altitude!

Start Time: 11:00

1.
Start with a trail run:
You are probably going to get mucky and you might encounter some of our infamous obstacles. It is all way-marked, so you need not worry about getting lost.

2.Then you are onto the bikes for a rough and ready ride around our stunning event venues.
You will follow way-marking arrows and some instructions on the 'Belter Brief' event instructions given out at registration. This is not a navigation-based event, like orienteering. You do not have to be Christopher Columbus to complete the course!

3. During the last run or bike phase, you will come into contact with our fleet of kayaks or another water-based challenge.
The boats we use are plastic sit-on-top kayaks and are easy to paddle and great fun. You don’t need any kayaking experience and if you are a weak swimmer, don’t worry - you are wearing buoyancy aids at all times and we have full safety cover in place.

4. Once you have run, biked and boated, it’s time to face up to the Green Machine:
The final hurdle before you cross the finish line. Our trademark assault course is situated in our event village, tantalisingly close to the finish. But you will need to conquer the assortment of tough obstacles before you can cross the line.

The Green Machine

You are wet, you have run your best and cycled like a legend. The finish is in sight. But you are not done yet. Dig deep, work as a team or with others around you, and you will conquer your final obstacle.
